Christian Shirts and Hats, Coming Soon
Stronghold Stuff plans to start with shirts and hats that carry a verse and say plainly what you stand on. Building pieces with verses on them, for people raising a house of their own, are planned for later.
The shop is not open yet, and no opening date has been set.
The House on the Rock
Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount with two builders. One of them gets it right.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
We rebuild houses, so that picture is close to home. The foundation is the part nobody sees, and it decides whether the house stands. That is the idea behind the store: faith you can build on.
Where the Money Goes
Profits from Stronghold Stuff will help fund HomeFront Properties, which rebuilds rundown houses around Springfield, Vermont into homes for working people. Trinity Industries, Inc. and HomeFront Properties are companies, not charities, so a purchase is not a donation.
HomeFront's crews strip old houses down to the studs and rebuild them. Most of the houses stay rentals for working families.
Who Is Behind Stronghold Stuff
Stronghold Stuff comes from Trinity Industries, Inc., a Springfield, Vermont company that "believes we are better together." Trinity works through three affiliate companies in mechanical work, construction and real estate: HB Energy Solutions, All Seasons Construction, and HomeFront Properties.
Trinity sums up how it works in three words: "faith, fellowship and focus."
